Jeep 4xe Driving Modes: Ready for Any Adventure
When it comes to the Jeep 4xe, you don’t need to sacrifice efficiency for performance. The new Jeep 4xe offers three driving modes to ensure just that. Electric Mode, Hybrid Mode, and eSave Mode are available for the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the Grand Cherokee 4xe. Below, you can learn more about the Jeep 4xe driving modes and what you can expect from each mode while it’s activated.
Jeep 4xe Electric Mode
As you cruise through Cypress, you can activate the Jeep 4xe Electric Mode. When this mode is on, your Jeep 4xe will use battery power only and create almost zero emissions. You can run Electric Mode if your Jeep 4xe battery has a charge of more than 1%. This mode creates a quiet ride and delivers an all-electric range of up to 21 miles for the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and 25 miles for the Grand Cherokee 4xe.
Jeep 4xe Hybrid Mode
The Jeep 4xe Hybrid Mode combines gas and electric power, delivering the best of both worlds. This mode pulls power from the 2.0L turbo engine and electric motors to generate the highest amount of horsepower and torque possible. Electric power is used first while your Jeep is in this mode, and then gas power. The Jeep 4xe mpg in Hybrid Mode ranges from 49 MPGe to 56 MPGe but varies depending on the model.
Jeep 4xe eSave Mode
When you want to reserve battery power, you can switch to Jeep 4xe eSave Mode. This mode uses regenerative braking to charge the battery when the brake pedal is at a low position. The available Max Regeneration feature configures the accelerator pedal to provide even more battery regeneration when you decelerate or brake.
